As a TAFE instructor, you will work closely with students to help them achieve their learning goals – using your industry knowledge, experience and skills to teach them “the tricks of your trade”. You will work on a training plan that defines the topics you need to cover in each class or workshop. Unlike school or university, training at TAFE is more practical and practical than academic, so you don`t teach as much as facilitate learning – good lecturers hire students so that they are active and motivated to learn. You will also participate in the development and maintenance of teaching and learning resources and training programs, including your own materials for use in workshops and courses. You may also be responsible for providing the equipment and resources used to conduct the training. for example, tools used in craft workshops. . . .
